Is restroom access required?

It is not required to provide a bathroom to host on Swimply.

While not required, the majority of our hosts make some kind of basement or side door bathroom work, especially if they will be home during the reservation. Providing a restroom increases the demand for a Listing and allows Hosts to accept longer reservations. Some of our Hosts happen to have a restroom outside specifically for Guest use, and some provide instructions for Guests to use a side/back door to allow minimal access to the home.

If you do not have a suitable restroom,  we recommend searching Google for “Porta Potty rentals near me”. You can usually find companies in a $200-$300/month range that come and clean the Porta Potty weekly for you, and the cost of the porta potty is easily offset by increased and longer bookings.

PLEASE NOTE: To best protect the safety and security of our users, Swimply allows for recording and monitoring devices such as security cameras and noise monitoring devices. These devices must be clearly disclosed in the listing details and cannot be located in or capable of monitoring restrooms or changing areas. Furthermore, any data obtained by these devices cannot be used for non-Swimply purposes.
