Instant booking
Instant Booking automatically approves any reservation made for an available slot on the Host´s calendar for groups within the designated guest limit. You will be directed straight to checkout and once you enter your credit card information, the booking is confirmed!
A Pool Listing will show a if it has Instant Booking enabled, helping you identify these desirable listings.
Request Based Booking
With the On Request booking flow, the process has two steps that need to be completed before it is confirmed.
1. Pre-approval
As a guest, you may have questions before committing or booking a new reservation.
A great way for you to ask a question is through the Contact Host button shown on every listing.
This is an opportunity for a Host(s) to answer your questions and decide if the booking will be approved. Once a Host pre-approves your inquiry, then you can proceed to make your reservation.
*Note: You may book a reservation without pre-approval. The pre-approval step allows you as the guest to ask any preliminary questions prior to booking the reservation.
2. Request
As soon as you submit your booking request, a pending charge will be applied to your credit card. You will be charged immediately if the Host approves; if they decline, the funds will be released. If a booking request is not approved, it will expire within 24 hours and the hold on your card will be removed.
3. Confirmation
Once a booking is approved, you will be charged immediately. Once the booking is paid, it will be moved to the confirmed status. At that time, the Pool’s address and any relevant booking details will be revealed to you! You can see the reservation under Reservations > Upcoming in your Swimply profile.
Payment Failed
Every now and again, a payment fails. You will receive an error message indicating why your payment failed. Try reaching out to your bank to confirm your card is valid for use or try uploading a different payment method.
*Note: Swimply does not accept pre-paid credit cards as a method of payment for a booking.
