Host badges are designed to help your listing attract more guests and secure more bookings. The following are two different badges you can get on your listing:
Fan Favorite Badge
Highlights hosts who have received 2+ repeat bookings in the last 12 months. Repeat bookings are any booking where the guest has previously booked at your listing beforehand. We want to recognize your popularity and commitment to exceptional hosting. You can view a breakdown of your bookings by unique guest in the Performance tab:
Top Swimply Badge
The following are how your listing is given a Top Swimply badge:
- You have a 90% success rate, which is equivalent to a “great” success rating in your Performance tab:
- Your Success Rate is very closely tied to your Cancellation Rate. If your booking is set to Instant Book your Success Rate should be 100% and you are off and running. Should you have booking set to Request Based then your Success Rate is more a function of how often you manually review and accept each request, then follow through without cancellation. Your Success Rate will have one of three statuses:
- Great → above or equal to 90%
- Not Bad → above or equal to 75% and below 90%
- Needs Work → below 75%
- Please Note: only host cancellations impact this metric, guest cancellations are not taken into account.

Badge FAQ
Q: How do I earn the Fan Favorite Badge?
A: The badge is earned by having guests rebook at your listing. Listings who have received 2+ repeat bookings in the last 12 months are eligible to receive this badge.
Q: How do I track my performance towards earning the badge?
A: In the Performance Tab, you can now see the breakdown of bookings by unique guests (the total number of guests who have booked your listing) and also the total number of repeat guests (the total number of users who have booked your listing multiple times)
Q: How will I know I’ve earned the badge?
A: You’ll be able to view the badge when you click on your listing. It will appear under the title of your listing but will not show in search,
Q: Can I lose the badge?
A: This badge is earned based off of the most recent 12 months.
Q: What if most of my bookings are one-time big events?
A: Ofcourse, we recognize that not all listings are as suited for repeat bookings; however, every listing is eligible to receive the badge if they do receive enough repeat bookings. Furthermore, this badge is meant to highlight our listings that have received a high number of repeat guests, but just because you don’t have this badge does not mean you don’t have a great listing or aren’t a great host. You can still earn the Top Swimply Badge and have incredible success on Swimply even if you don’t have the Fan Favorite Badge (plus with enough success you can always still earn it).
Q: Can I have both badges?
A: Yes! If earned, both badges will show on your listing and your top host badge will show in search.
