Profile Settings

Profile Picture
- Profile pictures are a great way to display your personality and establish trust among your Guests. Uploading a profile picture is also the first step toward becoming a verified user. Your profile photo should be a recent photo of you. We encourage you to avoid uploading photos of objects, places or other people.
- To upload a new photo, select Edit profile picture, then New Profile Photo. Select the new photo you wish to upload, and then click save at the top.

Name
- Another important aspect of being verified includes having an accurate name. We only share the first initial of your last name when you chat with Guests

Bio
- The Bio section provides a great opportunity to share fun facts about yourself, and what got you started Hosting. Simply type your bio and click save at the top.
Account Information

Email
- This is the email address registered to your Swimply account. This can be used to login, as well as receive communications from Swimply. This can be changed at any time. Simply type your new email address and click save at the top.

Phone Number
- This is the phone number registered to your Swimply account. This can be changed at any time as well. Simply type your new email address and click save at the top.

Birthday
- Use this field to enter the date you were born.

Manage Password
- This is where you can manage your password. If you wish to change your password, you must enter your current password into the Current Password field, and your new password into the New password field. Don’t forget to click save at the top when you’re done!

Reset Password
- In the event that you forgot your password entirely, follow these steps to reset it.
- Select Login and then See more options at the bottom.

- Next, select Continue with email.
- Simply enter your account email address, then click the Continue button.
- When prompted for your password, click Forgot password.
- Enter your Swimply account email address, then click Send Reset Link. (check your email inbox for the reset link)
- Use the link in your email inbox, to reset your password to your account.
- Once you’ve reset your password, log-in again using your email and updated password.
- Please Note: If your phone number has been verified and connected to your account, you can use this to send an SMS log-in code.

Multiple Accounts
- In the rare instance you are having trouble accessing one of your multiple accounts you may need to reset your password using the steps above. Should this not work, please reach out to Swimply Customer Care so we can assist.

Delete Account*
- Use this button to delete your account and remove all relevant information from the system. Please note that this cannot be undone.
*When the user deletes their account, Swimply deletes all user data in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Notification Settings
Managing your notifications is essential as it notifies you of any updates for booking requests, contributes to efficient communication with your guests, manages bookings promptly, and contributes to an overall positive hosting experience through timely responses and update management.

Email Notifications
- Receive all Swimply related communications to your Swimply registered email address.

Transactional Text Messages
- By opting in to transactional SMS, you agree to receive automated account and booking notifications via text message. Standard messaging and data rates may apply.

Marketing Text Messages
- By opting in to marketing SMS, you agree to receive automated marketing messages and promotions via text message. Standard messaging and date rates may apply.

Push Notifications
- Enabling push notifications in the app will open your device settings and prompt you to "allow" notifications for the Swimply app (Screenshot below)
Choose a Payment Method
What better way to learn more about how to improve the Guest experience than to try it yourself? Add a payment method to book a pool and connect with fellow Hosts. This is a great chance to share tips and tricks or just take a day off to relax.

How to add debit or credit card
- Click Choose a Payment Method, then click on the credit card icon.

- Enter your card information and click Add payment method at the bottom.
Favorites
As a new Host, you may have many questions about how to get started setting up your listing. One tip we often suggest is to research comparable listings in your area. Having a favorites list is a great way to save listings that you find inspiring and may wish to revisit later.

Create a new Favorites list or Add to an existing list
- On the home page, search for listings in your area of interest. Enter a location to start. Entering a date is optional. Click GO!
- Once you find a listing you like, simply click the heart icon in the top right of it’s thumbnail.
- On the next screen, you can choose to start a new list with your selection or add it to an existing list. Don’t forget to hit that save button!

Manage your Favorites

From the profile page, select Favorites, and then select the list you wish to update.
- Change list name or Delete list: Select the 3-dot ellipse in the top right corner to change the listing name or locate the delete list button.

- Filter: There you will also find the ability to filter listings by Date, Time and Guests.
- Invite friends: You also have the ability to invite friends to add to your list

- Switch to Guest view: Use this option when you’d like to search for listings or view the platform from the Guests perspective
App Troubleshooting
If you are unable to complete certain actions after multiple attempts please take the following steps to troubleshoot:

Are you using Swimply's App or Website?
- If using a web browser, please try using the Swimply app. If using the app, try using a web browser. Keep in mind that some web browsers, such as Safari, may experience limited functionality on our site. Therefore, Google Chrome is recommended.

Clear your cache and cookies
- If using the website, make sure you have cleared your cache and cookies before logging in, to ensure excess data storage isn’t interfering.

Please uninstall and reinstall the app
- If using the app, taking this step will ensure that you have the most up to date software version while also refreshing any cache data that may be stored for that app.

Switch off your WIFI and use mobile data instead
- Some routers such as Frontier or Eero may block access to Swimply.
