How does Proper insurance coverage differ from the Swimply Host Guarantee?

Proper Insurance coverage is a homeowner’s insurance policy, while Swimply’s Host Guarantee is extra coverage for the rare event of a guest injury or property damage. 

Is Proper insurance coverage sold “per booking” or is it a yearly contract? 

Proper Insurance is sold as a homeowners policy – it covers your home for your traditional use and your rental usage. If purchased, it would replace your current homeowner’s policy and generally has a term of one year before renewal. 

Does Proper Insurance coverage include trampolines, lessons, and other exclusions of the Swimply Host Guarantee?

Proper attempts to cover all forms of home amenity rentals but you would need to discuss with Proper if they could cover your specific amenity.

Do I still need regular Homeowners insurance or does Proper cover me for regular Homeowners insurance as well?

Proper insurance is a full policy which includes your traditional homeowners policy needs and your home amenity rental. 

Why do I need Proper Insurance coverage if I have the Swimply Guarantee for free? 

Proper is like your current homeowners insurance but it offers extra coverage for home amenity rentals. Even with the Swimply Guarantee it is important to have your own home owners insurance for your protection and Proper gives you the option of even more protection.
