Though not required, providing your Guests with a bathroom is not only crucial to giving them a good experience, but also for getting Guests to book your pool in the first place. Hosts who provide bathrooms are 80% more likely to get bookings than Hosts without bathrooms.
75% of our Hosts do offer access to a bathroom within their homes, whether it be through a side door, basement or primary entrance.
Of course, unless you live in a home with a second structure by the pool or direct access to a bathroom from the outside, it’s likely that Guests will have to enter your house to use the bathroom. We do understand that not everyone is comfortable letting Guests into their house, and that some hosts are not home to provide that access during a booking. In this case, renting a portable bathroom is a great option.
Portable restroom rentals should be around $100-$300 a month, and include a weekly cleaning service. We recommend searching online to find a few different vendors in your area, then call to obtain quotes to find the best option for you.
If you choose not to provide a bathroom, your bookings will be limited to one hour. We do this to ensure Guest safety and satisfaction and with your listing costs in mind.
