To best protect the safety and security of our users, Swimply allows for recording and monitoring devices such as security cameras and noise monitoring devices. These devices must be clearly disclosed in the listing details and cannot be located in or capable of monitoring restrooms or changing areas. Furthermore, any data obtained by these devices cannot be used for non Swimply purposes.
Clearly Disclosed
All monitoring devices must be disclosed to Guests in the listing details prior to the reservation. The devices should be clearly visible to Guests, and if a noise monitoring device is present, expectations regarding parties and behavior should be clearly indicated in listing details. Only spaces included in the reservation agreement are subject to disclosure requirements.
Location
Devices cannot be used to monitor private spaces where guests will be undressing or using restroom or shower facilities.
Handling Data
Sharing data obtained by permitted devices is not allowed except with respect to your Swimply booking.
Violations of this policy will result in a full refund to the Guest, and the Host will not be paid for the reservation. Repeated or serious violations of this policy will also result in penalties up to and including Host removal from our platform with no chance of reinstatement. All users are also expected to comply with their jurisdiction's rules surrounding recording devices.
