Instant Book*
- Toggle whether or not you want your Guest booking requests to approve instantly or if you require reviewing and approving each booking manually.
- When toggled on, you pre-approve all available times on your calendar for reservations up to a certain party size. This means when a Guest makes a reservation request, they can confirm immediately without your manual review and approval. In the example below your Guest booking requests up to 20 Guests will book automatically via. Instant book, any booking 21 Guests or over will require you to manually review and approve.
*Please Note: Listings that have Instant Booking enabled are 80% more likely to get booked as it eases the Guests booking process. Your pool will appear before other pools in your area without Instant Book on, and Guests are more likely to book with you as they know they will not have to wait to be approved or declined. We recommend having Instant Book turned on if you are a Host who is widely available and is open to a higher volume of bookings.
- As long as it is within the timeframe of your cancellation policy, a Guest can cancel their reservation regardless of how it's booked. It should also be noted that Instant Book does not affect your advance notice policy.
- When toggled off, your Guests will book via. a Request-based booking process. After a Guest requests your listing, you, as the Host, review the request and manually approve or decline it, and the Guest confirms that they’ll be attending.
- Change requests also follow the booking's creation type. For example, if a Guest requests to increase the number of Guest or amount of time of a reservation created through instant booking, their change request will be automatically approved. Request-based bookings changes will require the host approval before being confirmed.
Future Bookings
- Indicate how far in advance a Guest can book your space. If a Guest communicates with you they are unable to book your space for a certain date, this section is most likely the reason - they fall out of the booking window. Here are your options:
- Guests can book up to 3 months in advance
- Guests can book up to 6 months in advance
- Guests can book up to 1 year in advance
Minimum Booking Length*
- Indicate the shortest booking length you will accommodate. Here are your options:
- 1 hour
- 1.5 hours
- 2 hours
*Please Note: 75% of bookings are 2 hours or greater. Don’t miss out on these bookings!
Remember to click Save after each adjustment to ensure your preferences are updated.
