Leaving a Review
Swimply strongly believes that both Guests and Hosts should have an opportunity to share their experiences with other members of the Swimply community.
For this reason, Hosts and Guests are given the chance to leave thoughtful and honest reviews after each booking. Transparent and clear reviews can be a valuable tool for helping Hosts learn how to improve their listings, while also protecting our community and fostering trust within it.
All users who complete a reservation are eligible to leave a review. After the booking is complete, you and the Host will have the opportunity to review each other in the Past reservations tab.
Once you are in the Past tab, simply click on the reservation you would like to leave a review for. This will bring you to the details section. Next, simply scroll down and select Rate this host.
Your review will be shown publicly under the listing in the order it was received. Reviews are an invaluable part of building trust between Guests and Hosts in our marketplace. We appreciate your honesty and thoughtfulness when communicating your experience.
Review Removal
Allowing Guests and Hosts the opportunity to share their experiences with reviews, is an integral component of growth in the Swimply Community. Being respectful of each member is essential. With that in mind, Swimply reserves the right to remove reviews that include:
- Discriminatory content including but not limited to discrimination on the basis of age, sexual orientation, race, religion, gender, or gender expression
- Defamatory, offensive, or inappropriate content, including but not limited to profanity, name-calling, graphic, or sexually explicit content
- A user’s personal information, including but not limited to a user's full name, address, contact information, personal/religious/political views
- The use of reviews as coercion or incentivizing reviews with financial compensation.
- Extraneous Commentary, including aspects of the experience not related to the booking experience itself (restaurants, ride-shares, etc.) or about past Swimply reservations, Hosts, or Guests
Can I Edit My Review?
Once you leave a review, it cannot be edited.
Alternatively, you may request to delete the review altogether. Once the review is deleted, you will not be able to submit another review for the same booking.
Please Note: Guests who did not complete their reservation are ineligible to leave a review
Host Reviews of Guests
It is important to keep in mind that Hosts get to review you as a Guest in their space. These reviews are not public to everyone but are viewable by other Hosts on the Swimply platform so they can better understand if you are a good fit for their space. It is always imperative to behave in accordance with the rules expressed by the Host, if not, this will surely reflect on your account for a future Host to consider before approving you for their space.
Problem Posting A Review

- In case users encounter issues even after checking the conditions listed above, follow the How to handle User reports of technical issues

I was not able to finish my review. I would like to have the opportunity to phrase it in a way that makes sense with the amount of letters allowed.
