Advanced Pricing for Hosts
Advanced Pricing helps you automatically offer targeted discounts to increase bookings during slower times, fill open availability, and encourage larger reservations — all without manually updating your rates every day.
What is Advanced Pricing?
Advanced Pricing gives you flexible tools to automatically adjust pricing based on booking patterns and guest behavior.
You can choose to enable any combination of the following pricing options:
- Weekday Pricing
- Off Peak Pricing
- Same Day Pricing
- Long Booking Pricing
Each setting is optional and can be turned on or off independently.
Where can I find Advanced Pricing?
You can find Advanced Pricing in your listing’s pricing settings within your Swimply host dashboard.
Once enabled, your discounts will automatically apply to eligible bookings.
Weekday Pricing
What is Weekday Pricing?
Weekday Pricing lets you lower your rates Monday through Thursday, when demand is often slower.
This can help:
- Increase weekday bookings
- Fill unused calendar time
- Attract repeat local guests
- Improve listing visibility and conversion
How does it work?
You choose a weekday discount percentage, and the reduced pricing automatically applies to eligible weekdays.
Example:
- Your normal rate: $100/hour
- Weekday discount: 20%
- Weekday guest price: $80/hour
Should I use Weekday Pricing?
Weekday Pricing works especially well if:
- Your weekdays are frequently unbooked
- You want more consistent weekly income
- Your area has strong remote-work or staycation demand
Off Peak Pricing
What is Off Peak Pricing?
Off Peak Pricing automatically discounts bookings during lower-demand hours:
- Before 12:00 PM
- After 7:00 PM
Why would I use this?
Many pools and spaces sit unused during early mornings and evenings. Off Peak Pricing helps make those time slots more attractive to guests.
This can help:
- Increase total daily utilization
- Fill difficult-to-book hours
- Generate extra income without affecting peak pricing
Example
If your rate is $100/hour and you set:
- Off Peak Discount = 20%
Then:
- 9 AM booking → $80/hour
- 8 PM booking → $80/hour
- 2 PM booking → regular pricing
Same Day Pricing
What is Same Day Pricing?
Same Day Pricing automatically discounts bookings made for the current day.
It’s designed to help fill last-minute availability.
Why is this useful?
Guests often search Swimply for spontaneous plans:
- Hot weather
- Last-minute gatherings
- Kids activities
- Evening hangouts
A same-day discount can help your listing stand out in search results and convert faster.
Example
If your standard rate is $100/hour and your same-day discount is 20%:
- A guest booking for today would pay $80/hour
Future bookings would still use your normal pricing.
Long Booking Pricing
What is Long Booking Pricing?
Long Booking Pricing encourages guests to book longer stays by automatically discounting bookings longer than 4 hours.
Why use it?
Longer bookings often mean:
- Higher total earnings
- Fewer turnovers
- Less coordination
- Better calendar efficiency
Offering a discount can encourage guests to extend their reservation.
Example
If your pricing is:
- Standard rate: $100/hour
- Long booking discount: 20%
Then:
- 2-hour booking → regular pricing
- 5-hour booking → discounted pricing
Can guests combine multiple discounts?
In some cases, multiple discounts may apply to the same booking depending on the booking details and platform rules.
For example:
- A same-day weekday morning booking could qualify for multiple pricing adjustments.
The final price shown to guests is always calculated automatically at checkout.
Will Advanced Pricing lower my earnings?
Not necessarily. Many hosts use Advanced Pricing to:
- Fill otherwise empty hours
- Increase booking frequency
- Improve listing performance
- Generate more total monthly revenue
Even at discounted rates, additional bookings can often outperform unused availability.
What discounts should I start with?
Recommended starting points:
| Setting | Suggested Discount |

| Off Peak Pricing | 10–20% |
| Same Day Pricing | 15–25% |
| Long Booking Pricing | 10–15% |
You can always adjust your settings later based on performance.
