Review your pause dates for summer and set your listing status to go live as soon as it's warm enough to maximize your earnings!
What is pausing?
Pausing is a tool you can use to keep your listing visible in search but not bookable until a future date. Guests will still be able to search your pool and view your listing with your regular link, but they will see a "paused" banner letting them know they can not currently book your space until the after your selected "unpause" date. (To prevent guests from booking dates after your unpause date, you can edit your future booking settings.)
When should I pause my listing?
You should pause your listing if there are a few colder months you choose to close your pool for during the offseason, if you are renovating your space, or need ample time to adjust your listing without incoming bookings or booking requests. You can of course still block out individual and multiple dates but if needed for an extended period time such as offseason, this is a great tool to use.
Keep in mind that you will need to choose "unlist" from your listing status settings for your pool to not be visible to guests at all. You can move it back to active anytime!
Why is pausing important?
It is very important to properly pause your space so that you do not get unintended views and/or requests on your listing when it is not available which will cause your space to drop lower in the search results. We see a lot of our guests booking in advance of spring and early summer so pausing will allow them do still view your listing and book ahead!
