Swimply provides a marketplace where Hosts who own private spaces can connect with people who may not have spaces of their own, but want to enjoy such spaces in a comfortable and private setting. As such, Swimply charges a service fee for providing this opportunity.
The Swimply Service Fee is a percentage of the booking subtotal. This fee covers various operational expenses, including customer support, marketing, and platform maintenance. It also contributes to our Swimply Protection Guarantee. The remaining portion of the payment, after deducting our service fee, is transferred to the Host as payment for their services.
The service fee amount varies by booking, but will always be visible on the final checkout screen before booking and payment is finalized. The following is a breakdown of the Swimply Service Fee:
This fee is calculated based on multiple factors including, but not limited to:
- Location
- Regulatory laws
- Booking details
- Other risk factors
This fee goes towards:
- Swimply Protection Guarantee
- Fraud Protection
- Customer Support
- Marketing
- App Support
Please note: Service fees are non-refundable for cancelations outside of the refund window. Service fees also apply to any additional changes made to a reservation after the fact.
Swimply's Terms of use and service must be read and agreed to by all users before they can sign up.
