Types of Refunds
When a booking is canceled, Swimply offers two different refund options for you to choose from:

Refund to Original Payment Method - This method initiates a refund to the same card that was used to make the booking.
- Takes 3-7 business days to process
- Cannot be refunded to a different card or account
- Cannot be reversed once initiated

Credit Refund to Swimply Account - This method initiates a refund to your Swimply account in the form of credits.
- Processes immediately
- Is a great option if unable to wait for a standard refund.
- Can be reversed for a standard refund if credits are unused. Contact Swimply Customer Care
Please Note: For bookings canceled by Host only, if a Guest elects the credit refund option, Swimply will offer a bonus 10% in credits.

Changing Your Refund Option
In the event that you choose credit refund by mistake or simply change your mind and want a standard refund instead, follow these steps:
- Make sure you haven’t used any of the credits. Credit refunds can only be exchanged for standard refunds if the full balance remains.
- Submit a ticket to Swimply Customer Care in the Help Center. Click the Help button to interact with our virtual assistant, Duckie. Follow the prompts and select Payments or Refunds > Refund > Change Credit Refund to Cash Refund
- Within 72 hours, a member of the Customer Care team will process your request and follow up via email with confirmation.
- You can then expect to see your refund 3-7 business days after you receive confirmation.
