Planning a larger or more expensive booking? With Klarna, you can pay for the booking over several weeks or months, giving you more flexibility on how and when you pay.
What is Klarna?
Klarna is a third-party service that will allow you to pay for your Swimply booking over time. Klarna offers multiple payment plans:
- Pay now: Pay for the purchase in a single payment via Klarna
- Pay later: Pay for the purchase in a single payment in 30 days
- Pay in 4: pay in four interest-free installments. The total transaction amount is typically spread equally across the installments, but there may be exceptions
- Financing: Pay for the purchase over a longer term of up to 36 months, which may include interest
When can I use Klarna?
During checkout, you’ll see the option to use Klarna for your booking. If you don’t see an option to use Klarna, this means there’s no Klarna option available for your booking. Klarna’s availability is determined by multiple factors, including location and booking price.
How do I pay with Klarna?
During checkout, if you see an option to pay with Klarna, you can select it. After you tap “Confirm and Pay”, you’ll be taken to Klarna’s site to set up the payment plan.
Klarna will separately verify your personal information and check to determine if you are eligible for a payment plan. Swimply has no say in whether Klarna determines if you are eligible. If you are not eligible for Klarna, you can always use one of the other payment options.
If you are eligible for Klarna, you will be able to see your payment plan options in Klarna and complete the transaction through Klarna. Klarna accepts most major debit and credit cards. Prepaid cards are not accepted.
You will be able to apply Swimply credits or promotions before paying with Klarna. In this case, the net value of the booking will be processed with Klarna.
After you accept and finalize a Klarna payment plan and are approved by Klarna, the booking will be confirmed on Swimply.
How do I manage a Klarna payment plan?
If you have an existing Klarna payment plan, you can see details and manage it in your Klarna account. Swimply has no access to your Klarna payment plan.
How do booking modifications and cancelations work?
For booking modifications:
- If you modify the booking in a way that increases the cost of the booking, you will need to pay for the modification with a separate credit or debit card processed through Swimply. The additional amount cannot be paid for via Klarna
- If you modify the booking in a way that decreases the cost of the booking, the refund will be processed via Klarna. Klarna will send you an adjusted statement and payment schedule.
If the booking is canceled and you are eligible for a refund, the refund will be processed via Klarna.
Service fees may not be refundable when using Klarna
