You've picked a day and a terrific pool! You're all ready to swim, and then you realize you DO want to use the Host's grill after all. If you want to add an Amenity to your upcoming booking, you can!
When you initially create your booking you can review and choose amenities offered by the Host. Once the reservation is Confirmed and your swim is still upcoming, you can tweak your choices and request the addition of other Amenities from your Host. When your host approves their addition you'll be charged for the extra cost and your booking will immediately update.
Step 1 - Your Booking Details:
You can review the full list of available Amenities from your Host in the "Amenities" tab of your Reservation Details screen. Any Amenities that are already included in your upcoming reservation are shown as "Added". All of the other Amenities that are available from your Host are listed with a "Request" button next to them. Each Request button shows the price to add the Amenity to the booking. These prices do not include the Swimply fee which will be added to the total.
Step 2 - Review Details:
When you click one of the blue "Request" buttons it will open the Request screen where you can submit changes to any details that you need to adjust.
The Amenity you chose will be displayed in blue. If you would like to request to add more than one new amenity click on "Add amenities". On the next screen you can choose all the new Amenities you would like to add to your booking. When you've chosen everything you'd like, click "Save" at the bottom.
When you're satisfied with all the additions and/or changes you'd like to request from your host, click on "Make change" to proceed.
Step 3 - Billing Review:
On this review screen you will see the details of how your Amenity request will effect your bill before submitting to your Host.
Step 4 - Request Submitted:
With this last step your Amenity request has been submitted to your Host. They will receive an email and a text about this request. Your Host will be able to "Approve" or "Decline"
If they choose Approve, then the booking will immediately update to include the extra Amenities you chose. You will be notified of the change and you'll see the new Amenities in your account. You will be charged for any difference in price.
If they choose to Decline, then the booking will remain exactly as it was before you submitted the Amenity request. It's a good idea to contact your Host to talk about your request, it may be possible to add some of the things you requested but not all of them. Your host do their best to accommodate you.
