How to Cancel
In the instance something comes up and you are unable to attend the reservation, consider first the option to reschedule. Check with your Host to see if there’s a date and time, you both can agree on. Then modify the date using the steps shown here.
If you and your Host are unable to reschedule, you can cancel anytime up until the deadline shown on your reservation’s cancellation policy. Follow the steps below to proceed with canceling:
- In order to cancel a booking, you must navigate to the Reservation details page of the booking.
- Once on the reservation details page, scroll down to the very bottom to find the Cancel reservation button:
- Select a reason for cancelling that best suits your situation:
- The system will advise whether you are eligible for a refund, so you can decide whether or not cancelling is still the best option:
- Next, you will be presented with the option to select your refund type*:
- Once you select a refund type and proceed, the cancellation cannot be undone.

What If My Host Cancels?
If your Host is the one who cancels, you will be sent an email with two refund options:
- Cash Refund for the amount of the booking to original payment method (7-10 days)
- Credit Refund for the amount of the booking + 10% bonus credit to your Swimply account (immediate)
Cancellation Policies
When considering booking a listing it is important to first check the cancellation policy so you understand your options should something unexpected occur.
The cancellation policy determines the deadline by which a Guest can cancel a reservation without forfeiting their funds.
These are the different policies you can encounter:
- Cancel Anytime: Guests can request a full refund up to 2 hours before reservation start time.
- Very Chill: Guests can request a refund up to 24 hours before the reservation start time.
- Kinda Chill: Guests will only receive a refund when canceling 72 hours (3 days) before the reservation start time.

I am trying to cancel my reservation made just a couple of hours ago and tge system is not allowing me to cancel and it’s not allowing me to update the email on my account. I have been online with customer service for a couple hours and I still haven’t been able to cancel the reservation notwithstanding they have charged my debit card $732 already
It sucks Im having the same problem ,how did you solve this issue if you dont mind me asking?
This process does not work to cancel
This is ridiculous. 40 minutes later and I don’t have an option or an answer to get a refund or to get my credits . Host canceled 5 minutes after booking after booking claiming he didn’t have the times available… then why post those times at all??
Swimply - please DO BETTER. The cancellation system from the guest side does not work at all, and on the host side, I believe there are punishments for cancelling. This leaves both parties not able to resolve their issues properly. I LOVE your service you provide, but with these website function issues, you will lose customers i am sure.
