Whether you’re looking to make booking modifications, cancel a reservation or simply communicate with your Host, you can do this and more from Reservation Details page.
- Scroll down until you see the Reservation Details section. Here you will find the options to Send message or make changes:
- In order to add/remove time, guests or amenities, click the Make changes button to access the screen shown below. The following sections will review how to modify each of the 3 options:
How to Modify Time
When you make a reservation on Swimply, you agree to a certain timeframe for that reservation as well as your Host’s rules and cancelation policy. Just as you would want to start your reservation on time at a clean pool, so do the next set of Guests. An accidental overstay* can really throw off a Host’s ability to clean, prepare, and sanitize their space between Guests. The best way to ensure that all users get a chance to enjoy their time at the pool is to be mindful of the reservation agreement

In order to modify your time slot or reschedule to a new date entirely, press change next to Date and time and access the scheduler:
- In order to change the date, use the arrows at the top to navigate by week or month:

- In order to change the time, you must re-select both the start time and the end time again, even if the start time is staying the same:

- Once you’ve finalized your selection, scroll down and click Save Date and Time at the bottom:

- In the unfortunate event that you stay past the reservation agreement, you may be charged in 15-minute increments for the extra time to compensate your Host.
- You also risk receiving a poor review from your Host which may reduce your chances of being able to have a second reservation.
How to Modify Number of Guests

In order to modify the number of guests coming, press change next to Who’s coming
- Be sure to accurately update the number for each type of guest that will be attending:

Extra Guest Charges Policy
At Swimply, we strive to maintain fairness and transparency for Hosts and Guests. To ensure a seamless and positive experience for all parties involved, we have established a policy that allows Swimply to adjust the booking to reflect an accurate headcount or include amenities used during a booking. This policy is designed to uphold the platform's integrity and is in accordance with our Terms of Service.
Booking Agreement: Guests must provide accurate information during the booking process, including the number of individuals present at the reservation. This information is vital for Hosts to adequately prepare their facilities and ensure the safety and comfort of all Guests.
Exceeding Booking Limits: If Guests arrive with more people than originally booked or use amenities not included in their booking, Swimply reserves the right to charge an additional fee for each extra guest or amenity. This fee is intended to compensate Hosts for the additional usage and potential impact on the property.
Fee Assessment: The specific fee amount for extra Guests will be determined by Swimply and communicated to the guest. The fee will be based on various factors, such as the Host's pricing structure, the amenities provided, and the impact on the property.
Notification: In the event that Guests bring more individuals than initially booked and does not update the booking accordingly, Swimply will notify the guest of the discrepancy and the associated charges.
Payment Collection: Swimply will facilitate the collection of extra guest charges through its established payment system. The guest will be charged the additional fees, and the payment will be processed using a payment method associated with their account.
Dispute Resolution: If a disagreement arises between the Guest and Host regarding the extra charges, Swimply's support team will be available to assist in resolving the issue. Both parties are encouraged to communicate openly and work towards a fair resolution within the Swimply messaging system.
Terms of Service Compliance: This Extra Guest Charges Policy is integral to Swimply's overarching Terms of Use and Servicve. By using the Swimply platform, Guests agree to comply with these terms, which include respecting the Host's rules and guidelines, providing accurate booking information, and honoring the agreed-upon terms and fees.
Policy Updates: Swimply reserves the right to update or modify the Extra Guest Charges Policy as necessary to improve the platform's functionality and address evolving circumstances.
How to Modify Amenities

In order to add or remove amenities, press change next to Amenities.
- Any Amenities that are already included in your upcoming reservation are highlighted in blue:

- Simply click an amenity that isn’t highlighted in order to add it to the reservation, or click a highlighted amenity in order to deselect it and remove it from the reservation.
- Once you’ve finalized your selection, scroll to the bottom and select Save amenities:
The new reservation updates and fees due for the changes will appear in blue. Review them in detail to ensure accuracy. If everything looks good, click Make changes once more.
If the booking is an Instant booking, the changes will be auto approved and the charges will process immediately. Therefore, you must have a card saved on file to pay all change fees at the time of making the change. A failed payment will revert the booking back to its original settings.
If the booking is not an Instant Booking, the Host will need accept your change request before the updates can be applied to the booking. The change is only considered official once the reservation receipt shows updated.
If the Host chooses to Decline your change request, then the booking will remain exactly as it was before you submitted the request. In this case it's a good idea to contact your Host to talk about your request, and discuss alternative options.
